We just can’t get enough of the dog park here at Alaska Tweets. It’s not just a place to let your dog run off leash and sniff some butts, but it’s a place where connections happen. And confessions. And gossip.
We are tweeting up this Sunday, September 20 at 10:00 a.m. at University Lake dog park for a great sociable walk around the lake with man’s best friend. The trails are pretty muddy in spots, so please come dressed for it. Let’s meet behind the Alaska Native Medical Center and prepare for a great morning walk with some really great dogs.
Even if you don’t have a dog of your own, you’ll want to be there for the walk because otherwise we will be talking about you. Check out the current list of attendees:

pennie lane has to stay on lead because she’s a little mental and mean. i hope she doesn’t make everybody hate her tomorrow. she’s cute but an angry young boston terrier. maybe they’re all like her. we’ll have cheese whiz on hand to calm her though.
Yeah, we can’t bring Angus because he’d absolutely lose it and start a fight or bite someone. He’s so extremely alpha it’s not funny.

And just so we’re clear, I mean dogs.
I am going to try and make it. I don’t know if my dogs can make it around the whole lake, they are English bulldogs and they don’t have slot of stamina and overheat easily.
