The Tasty Tweets Bake Sale held today was a resounding success! Thank you to @Valette and @yishrocks for organizing the event, to @Bella_Boutique for hosting, to Kaladi Brothers for coming out with their special event trailer and donating coffee and to @jmproffitt and @AgentIceCream for the $1,000 challenge grant. And let’s not forget the many creative bakers who made Tasty Tweets delicious and the generous — and hungry — Anchorage community!

Sales didn’t slow down for the second half of the event. People kept coming and buying and donating, opening up their hearts and their wallets to share their fortunes with this family who lost their home to fire. Read their ongoing story at basinroad.com.
