Photos and Thanks from the Tweetup & House Concert

We had a great time putting together this past weekend’s Tweetup & House Concert and we hope our guests enjoyed it, too. Judging from Twitter comments on Saturday night and into Sunday, it sounds like you did!

Before going back to “business as usual” on Twitter, I wanted to share a few notes from the event…

Photos: Available Online

The first batch of photos, at least from @jmproffitt, are posted to Flickr already. They may not all have captions yet, but at least the photos are posted for sharing.

If you have photos from the event and post them to Flickr, be sure to add them to the Alaska Tweets Group Pool.

If you’re not a Flickr user, but have posted photos anywhere else online, just post a comment below or drop a tweet to @jmproffitt so we can add links on this posting.

Tweetup Attendees

We didn’t have a guest book at the event, but here’s who we think came to the Tweetup & House Concert, and please correct me as needed either via Twitter or by a comment posted below…

If you’re counting, that’s a total of about 58 people (if the list is right) over the course of the evening. Again, post comments below or drop a note to @jmproffitt for additions or other list changes.

Thank You!

There are so many people to thank…

  • @mariancall for agreeing to play such fantastic live music in an intimate setting and for advising us on how to approach event promotions.
  • Kelli for putting together what we considered an award-winning spread of hors d’oeuvres and desserts with flair.
  • @Mayor_of_Twtr for working to get so much art and photography on display from the Twitter community and helping us set it up the night before.
  • The Artists: @valette, @TheRealHarper, @ColorCreek, @Mayor_of_Twtr, @akcook, @quirkydame, @AlaskaArtist, @okiave, @Anniepants / @Bella_Boutique
  • The Helpers: @BigDaveGrizzly, @MKinMotion and @Mayor_of_Twtr, who moved a couch, setup a tent and more!
  • Everyone that came out and shared the evening with us — the Twitter community in Anchorage is so wonderful we never worried about sharing our lives with you.
  • And last but far from least: @AgentIceCream. She agreed to do this event in our home and provided countless hours of creative and manual labor for days before, during and now after the Tweetup.

See you next time!
