Anchorage Tweetup: Sunday, Feb 15

It started with a Tweetup of an amazing group of about 40 people at KSKA Public Radio on January 8 (photos). Then there was a tiny, informal gathering of 10 at Moose’s Tooth on February 5. Now it’s time to get together again, this time with a special guest visiting for only a short time from her lower 48 tour: Marian Call, singer-songwriter of hometown fame.

Alaska Twitter users and even the social media curious are invited to attend this (very) informal Tweetup. No rules — just a place, a time… and maybe some nametags.

If folks want to hang out beyond 6:00 p.m., we’ll move the festivities to Sugarspoon, just across Spenard Road.

You and other Alaska Twitter and social media folk you may already know online! Bring your friends, your camera, your Twittering and Facebooking phones, netbooks and laptops and just hang out and chat with us.

Two tweeters have confirmed already: @jmproffitt and @mariancall. If you’re planning on attending, post a comment below or send a tweet to @jmproffitt to add your name to the list. We’ll update this site each day, listing everyone that has confirmed.

Other Notes

Organic Oasis has a wide variety of organic food and drink available for purchase, including beer and wine. Great stuff. If we do end up migrating to Sugarspoon at 6pm… dieters beware! It’s sinfully good.
